		<description><![CDATA[Sir Ken is one of my all time  favourites, and I truly agree with his message about education systems being created for the needs of the society (well, industry, actually - but that sounds too bad, doesn&#039;t it?).

At the moment the only solution I can see is to move away from teaching and focusing to learning. This means for each and every teacher to start providing more freedom within a structure, more daily choices (big and small) with focused and targeted feedback in the classroom. Because if we wait for the change to trickle down from the top of the education system, we get to wait for a looooong time.

Usually I communicate this by telling teachers about the 3 essential Cs in classrooms: cognitive, constructive and cooperative learning. They are compatible with any curriculum, and emphasize the process of learning over the product (or performance) in classrooms.]]></description>
